Day 1: Drive to Sipi falls – embark on a guided village walk

This safari begins when you embark on a drive to eastern Uganda, to Kapchorwa district where the Sipi falls are found. You will cross the Nile and vast areas of farmland. You will arrive at the falls just in time to go for a guided village walk. You will explore the coffee plantations and see how Arabica coffee is locally grown and processed.

Day 2: Explore the Sipi falls – hike to Mount Elgon

You will encounter the Sipi falls – a series of three raging waterfalls. After exploring the falls, you will go for a hike up Mount Elgon. The most common route starts in Budadiri and continues via the Sasa trail to the summit, and then descends down the Sipi trail back to the Sipi falls. Hikes around the falls offer breath-taking views across Lake Kyoga, the Karamoja plains and the slopes of Mount Elgon.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe

After an early morning breakfast, check out and embark on your journey back to Entebbe. You will have a stopover for lunch and then head straight to Entebbe. Where you will be dropped at a location of your choice which will mark the end of your trip.
