8 Days - Luxurious Flying Safari

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Ganyana safari driver/guide will meet and greet then transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. Later head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park

You will head to Entebbe International Airport for your short flight to Murchison Falls National Park. A driver/ guide from Ganyana Safaris will pick you up from the Airstrip and transfer you to your accommodation. You will enjoy an evening game drive and look out for animals like buffaloes, antelopes, lions, elephants, kobs, Jackson hartebeest among others and different bird species. Later head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and boat safari to the “bottom of the falls”

Set off for a morning game drive on the Northern Delta Nile withsightings of Lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi and baboons are some of the animals to expect. After lunch, you will embark on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile, this boat ride offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river. In the evening you will visit the top of the falls. Enjoy the Magnificent Murchison falls as they squeeze their way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert. Later head to the lodge for dinner and enjoy the camp fire at the lodge.

Day 4: Fly to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Head to the Air strip and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be picked and dropped at your lodge. Visit Lake Katwe, the salt mining Lake in Uganda and later enjoy an evening game drive and look out for animals like Uganda Kob, Defassa Waterbuck, Buffaloes, Elephants, zebras, Giant forest hog, Oribi and when lucky a leopard and Lion among others. Later head back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game Drive / Boat Safari

Enjoy the game drive and view different species of birds and variety of wildlife such as, Uganda Kob, Defassa Waterbuck, Buffaloes, Elephants, zebras, Giant forest hog, Oribi and when lucky a leopard and Lion among others. After lunch embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga channel with beautiful views of birds, hippos and many more as Lake George connects to Lake Edward. Later visit the baboon cave. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector.

Head out for an enroute game drive in the Ishasha Sector. A home of the famous tree climbing lions. Later transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The dense forest which is a home of the remaining mountain Gorillas in the world. Visit the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance, and also hearing stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

The long-awaited day is here when we shall encounter the Gorilla forest to meet and greet with the world’s most gentle primates in one of the dense tropical rainforests of the world that will reward you with once in a lifetime unending smiles and memories after setting eyes on the massive ‘Mountain Gorillas’. The trekking is never easy or hard, it’s always fun walking through the jungle and experiencing what life is like in the forest. The hike might be short or long depending on the Gorilla movements. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Fly Back to Entebbe (Departure)

Head to Kihihi Airstrip for your short flight back to Entebbe. Later transfer back to the Entebbe in time for your flight back home.
